Augmentation of facilities at Kakinada Port completed
 
The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) has intimated in a communique that augmentation of Kakinada Port facilities has been completed under the Sagarmala program. This includes construction of wharves, loading points, strengthening existing roads, repairing existing groynes & revetments, dredging of commercial canal & approach channel.
 
Also, berthing length of 200 m has been added.
