VOC Port handles over 38 pc more timber
 
V. O. Chidambaranar Port has successfully handled 29,351 tonnes of timber logs till November 2024-25, achieving a remarkable 38.20% increase from the 21,238 tonnes handled during the same period in 2023-24. 
 
This significant growth highlights the port’s enhanced operational efficiency and its pivotal role in supporting the timber trade and associated industries, said a release.
