CONCOR and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya partner to boost logistics efficiency through academic research

The Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara (GSV) have become partners to drive innovation in logistics through academic strength.
 
The collaboration seeks to maximise supply chain management, improve customer service and promote industry growth by utilising ‘Academic Strengths’. This MoU will facilitate providing seamless and affordable end-to-end logistics services, including First Mile Last Mile solutions. The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to lower India’s logistics costs by providing its stakeholders with the best logistics solutions.
 
CONCOR and GSV formalised the strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore innovative logistics solutions based on the academic research of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to enhance logistics efficiency. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, on behalf of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and Mr Mohammad Azhar Shams, Director (Domestic & HR), on behalf of CONCOR last week at the CONCOR Corporate Office, New Delhi, in the presence of Mr Sanjay Swarup, CMD CONCOR, and other senior officers of CONCOR and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya.
 
This collaboration aligns with CONCOR’s vision to enhance logistics efficiency through innovative logistics solutions, said a release.
