VOC Port surpasses 5 lakh TEUs in container handling

V. O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA), Tuticorin achieved a remarkable milestone on November 22, 2024, crossing 5 lakh TEUs in container handling, a 5.36% growth compared to the same period last FY.
 
Mr Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, commended the tireless efforts of the container terminals, port officials and port users in making this success possible, as per a release.
