Increase in maximum permissible draft at New Mangalore Port

Due to continuous dredging, the maximum permissible draft for Berth No.15 and Berth No.16 at New Mangalore Port has been increased to 14.00 metres with 1.0 metre height of raising tide due to improvement in water depth at approach channel and berth face.
 
This is with immediate effect, informed a New Mangalore Port Authority Circular dated January 27, 2025.
