CONCOR’s commitment to sustainable logistics reaffirmed

At the 11th PHDCCI Global Rail Convention on January 23, 2025, Mr Sanjay Swarup, CMD of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainable logistics during the “Chai Pe Charcha” session.
 
He highlighted CONCOR’s ESG-focused initiatives, including deploying LNG trailers, conducting trials with EVs, plans for net-zero warehouses, establishing North India’s 1st LNG stations at MMLPs in Khatuwas (Rajasthan), and planning to set up a second LNG station at MMLP Dadri (Uttar Pradesh).
 
He also emphasised CONCOR’s advancements in IT, such as AI-based Terminal Management Systems, mobile app-enabled first/last-mile logistics, real-time container tracking, and online container booking to simplify business operations.
 
The discussion showcased CONCOR’s robust infrastructure, featuring four MMLPs along the DFC at Khatuwas, Dadri, Swarupganj and Vernama, as well as the successful operation of time-tabled trains on the corridor. Mr Swarup reaffirmed CONCOR’s expertise in providing sustainable, seamless and customer-centric logistics solutions, highlighted a release.
