Karaikal Port sets operational records in October

Adani Ports and SEZ has announced that in October 2024, Karaikal Port in Puducherry has set new records with:
 
* 257 rakes handled
 
* 9.62 lakh tonnes of cargo evacuated
 
This achievement surpasses its previous record of 243 rakes and 8.59 lakh tonnes in October 2023. This impressive year-over-year growth reflects the port’s unwavering commitment to operational excellence and aligns perfectly with its ambitious growth objectives, said a release.
