CONCOR’s Varnama terminal to be connected to the DFC soon
The CMD of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), Mr Sanjay Swarup, visited the GatiShakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal in Varnama, Vadodara, to review the progress on the terminal's connectivity with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
This development will significantly enhance the terminal's capacity, providing direct linkage to double-stack trains.
The connectivity upgrade, expected to be completed within a month, will bolster ex-im and domestic traffic for the Vadodara trade. Mr Swarup met with customers during the visit, highlighting the various facilities offered at the terminal and reiterating CONCOR's commitment to achieving excellence.
The visit also included a tree-planting ceremony, marking CONCOR's dedication to sustainability.
