CCHAA’s 3rd Biennial Convention witnesses thought-provoking deliberations
The Calcutta Custom House Agents Association (CCHAA) successfully hosted its 3rd Biennial Convention on the 18th and 19th of April 2025 at the picturesque Amaya Resort, Uluberia, Howrah. The two-day event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of over 130 participants representing the entire spectrum of the logistics and EXIM trade fraternity, as per a release.
The convention opened with an inspiring Inaugural Address by Mr Farid Zamal, President, CCHAA, who set the tone for the event by emphasising the “need of the hour” in building a cohesive and future-ready logistics ecosystem. He highlighted key trade challenges and urged collaboration across sectors to overcome them with a holistic approach.
The theme of this year’s convention, “Logistical Conundrum – Holistic Approach Beholds”, resonated deeply with the challenges and opportunities within the logistics sector. The event was graced by an esteemed line-up of dignitaries and industry leaders, making it a landmark occasion in the association’s calendar.

With its blend of substance and celebration, the 3rd Biennial Convention reaffirmed CCHAA’s unwavering commitment to fostering dialogue, innovation and unity within the logistics community, concluded the release.
