Satish Honnakkatte assumes charge as Deputy Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority
Mr Satish Honnakkatte assumed office as the Deputy Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority last week.  Prior, he was Chief Mechanical Engineer at various ports for over 18 years. Earlier, he served for around 7 years in the Shipping Corporation of India and around 10 years in ports. 
 
Mr Honnakkatte, hailing from Mangalore, is a Mechanical Engineer with a B. Tech (Mechanical) from Calicut University. He is also a qualified Marine Engineer with MEO Class I (Motorship) certificate, issued under the Merchant Shipping Act, as per a port release.
