HMM announces the new India-North Europe Service (INX) at trade event in Mumbai
 
HMM organised a trade get-together in Mumbai on January 17, 2025 to announce the launch of its India-North Europe Service (INX). 
 
A series of promotional events is being held in Delhi, Chennai, Gandhidham and Tuticorin, besides Mumbai. HMM arranged the events in 5 major locations in order to get closer to customers. Around a 1,000 customers joined, highlighted a communique.
 
The Mumbai event was graced by:

* Mr MJ Jo, Managing Director of HMM Regional HQ in Dubai  
 
* Mr DJ Jeong, Managing Director, HMM India

* Mr Hwayong Jeong (Gennie), US Trade Head at Korea Headquarters 
 
Along with other senior HMM officials, including Mr Nilesh Waghela, General Manager/India Sales Manager, HMM India, and a cross-section of invitees from the trade.
 
HMM has added the New Direct Service INX (India North Europe Express) starting February 2025. With the aim of expanding its coverage, the INX is a direct service connecting India to North European destinations.

The first sailing of the service will commence from Nhava Sheva on February 14, 2025 vide vessel MV Hyundai Tokyo Voy 0156W.  
 
INX has the following port rotation: Karachi – Hazira – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Antwerp – Karachi It was also highlighted that INX offers best-in-class transit times and can load DG, Reefer as well as OOG cargo including Break Bulk Shipment, the latter by using super rack containers with extended arms and Flat Bed Containers.
 
Thanking the trade for its continuous support, Mr Jeremy Choi stressed that it has always been HMM’s endeavour to provide its customers quality service in the complex Indian market. The INX service, he said, is based on customer feedback, connecting India with North Europe.  
 
The trade will find value in shipping with HMM through this service, he emphasised. HMM’s strategy has always been to keep moving forward, create strong partnerships with customers and strive hard to meet customer expectations, he added.
 
Mr DJ Jeong also thanked the trade for their continued support and valuable feedback which has helped HMM launch new products, the communique added.
