ADB team visits Haldia to explore potential for rail-based cargo movement connecting  Bhutan and Nepal

An Asian Development Bank (ADB) team visited Haldia Dock Complex, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata on Monday as part of the Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal (BBIN) Rail-Based Cargo Movement Study to explore higher cross-border rail cargo potential, reduce logistics costs, and understand the port’s role in regional trade for Bhutan and Nepal, informed a communique.
