Govt officials Piyush Srivastava & Dr Vandana Aggarwal to grace Northern India Air Cargo Conclave & Awards 2024
Senior policymakers, government officials and regulators will be among a host of leading industry stakeholders who will be gracing Exim India’s Northern India Air Cargo Conclave & Awards 2024, the second edition, on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport, Aerocity, New Delhi.
Mr Piyush Srivastava, IES, Senior Economic Adviser, Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, has kindly consented to be part of the event. Having over 30 years of practical experience in General Management, Policy Formulation, Scheme Formulation and Implementation, Strategy, Evaluation and Economic Analysis, he, in his current posting, looks after the drones, cargo sector, aircraft manufacturing & MROs, aircraft leasing & financing, aero sports, HR & skill development. He is also on the Board of AAICLAS.
Dr Vandana Aggarwal, IES, former Senior Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, will also be making her presence felt. She has played a key role in formulating vital policies, reforms and notable targets for the all-round growth and development of the sector. She currently holds another important position as Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Developing the Aircraft Financing and Leasing Ecosystem of GIFT-IFSC. One of her other fields of work includes air cargo advocacy, and she is also an Independent Director on the Boards of a few aviation and air cargo services corporates.
As reported earlier, Ms Ashima Bansal, IRS, Commissioner of Air Cargo Export, too has confirmed her participation. Her diverse experience encompasses serving in various capacities across different departments like Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax (DGGST), Delhi Customs Zone, Delhi Central Excise Zone, GST Council Secretariat etc.
They will be joined by many of the leading lights of the fraternity - logistics service providers, shippers & consignees, prominent entrepreneurs, top professionals, representatives from major airlines and airports etc. – at this premier industry event that has emerged as a popular regional sectoral gathering in only its second edition.
The theme of the event is Indian Air Cargo - Set to Take-off to New Horizon, whose multiple aspects and varied perspectives will be discussed in detail by distinguished speakers and panelists at the Conclave.
