Ripley & Co., Bothra Shipping consortium quotes highest revenue share for mechanisation of  Berth No. 5 at HDC

The consortium of Ripley & Co. Stevedores and Handling Pvt. Ltd and Bothra Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd have quoted the highest revenue share for Mechanisation of Berth No. 5 at Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata on PPP basis following DBFOT model. The consortium expects to get the Letter of Award from the port this month for implementing the project, informed a release. 
 
Upon mechanisation, Berth No. 5 will have annual cargo handling capacity of 5 million tonnes. The consortium will invest more than Rs 600 crore in providing state-of-the-art mechanised facilities for handling dry bulk cargo comprising coal, limestone, manganese ore etc. at the berth. The project is likely to be commissioned by the end of 2026, the release added.
