Capt. B. K. Tyagi to hold additional charge as Director (P&A), SCI
The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has communicated that consequent upon the superannuation of Mr Manjit Singh Saini, Director (P&A), Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI), with the approval of Competent Authority, Capt. Binesh Kumar Tyagi, Chairman and Managing Director, SCI, will also hold the additional charge of the post of Director (P&A) for a period of 3 (three) months w.e.f. 01.02.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Capt. B. K. Tyagi had taken charge as CMD of SCI with effect from 03.09.2022. He also holds the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Shipping Corporation of India Land and Assets Ltd (SCILAL), Inland & Coastal Shipping Ltd (ICSL) and SCI Bharat IFSC Ltd. Earlier, he headed SCI’s Liner and Passenger Services Division as Director from January 2021, said a release.
