APSEZ completes acquisition of 95% stake in Gopalpur Port

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 95% stake in Gopalpur Port Ltd (GPL), in Odisha, from the existing shareholders. The definitive agreement for the deal had been signed in March.
 
APSEZ acquired 56% of the stake from SP Port Maintenance Private Ltd and approximately 39% from Orissa Stevedores Ltd, it is learnt.  
 
GPL, which was incorporated in July 2006, specialises in handling various types of dry bulk and break bulk cargo, as per reports.
