Atul Ubale to hold additional charge as Director (Finance) of SCI
The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has extended the additional charge given to Mr Atul Ubale, Director (Bulk Carrier & Tanker Division), Shipping Corporation of India (SCl), as Director (Finance) of the company. He will now continue to hold the post from September 7 to November 10, 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, and subject to the approval of the ACC.
Mr Ubale, who joined the SCI in May 1989, took charge as Director (Bulk Carrier & Tanker Division) in December 2019. He has been holding additional charge as Director (Finance) of SCI with effect from March 2024. He also took charge as Director (Finance) of SCILAL in March 2024. Besides, he has been Director of SCI Bharat IFSC Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of SCI) since August 12, 2024, as per a communique.
