Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port approves supply of mooring ropes to vessels berthing at oil jetties
 
Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMPK), Kolkata has approved the supply of mooring ropes to vessels berthing at oil jetties whenever there is a shortage of the required number of mooring ropes.
 
Port users have been advised to place their requirements not later than berthing meeting before vessel calling or in advance as applicable.
 
The following rates will be levied for supply of ropes on returnable basis:
 
*$25.83 per day/per rope for supply of ropes to foreign vessels and Rs 1,310.00 per day/per rope for coastal vessels.
 
The rates/scheme will be reviewed after 3 months, informed a port circular.
