JNPA receives Build India Infra Award 2025 for ports-sustainability

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has been honoured with the Build India Infra Award 2025 in the category of Ports-Sustainability. This recognition is a reflection of JNPA’s unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and its dedication to building a greener future for the maritime industry.
 
JNPA said in a communique that it is proud to be recognised for its efforts in creating a world class, environmentally responsible port, including initiatives such as the rejuvenation of lakes, the introduction of e-trucks and e-vehicles, shore power supply, the installation of smart LED lights at JNPA SEZ, and many more. This award has inspired JNPA to continue pushing the boundaries of sustainable development and innovation in the maritime sector, the communique emphasised.
