CONCOR facilitates efficient reefer container movement to JNPA

Moving reefer containers presents unique challenges due to strict temperature control and the need for expedited transit for perishable cargo.
 
The Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has extended double-stack service to Vadodara (Varnama), ensuring seamless connectivity to Nhava Sheva even before its direct DFC link. CONCOR’s Mega MMLP ICD Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, has successfully scheduled double-stack reefer containers from Dadri to Varnama, which are then reconfigured into a single-stack train for JNPA, facilitating higher cargo volume movement and faster evacuation from the hinterland to the port.
 
A game-changer in cold chain logistics, driving efficiency and reliability, highlighted a communique.
