South East CEO Conclave & Awards (SECC) 2024 in Chennai graced by leading govt officials & the entire spectrum of the cargo & logistics fraternity
 
A definitive success
 
A highlight of Exim India’s South East CEO Conclave & Awards (SECC) 2024, the 15th edition, which captivated a packed house on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, was the participation of a plethora of leading government representatives, including eminent port heads, Customs officials and others associated with cargo and logistics, who not only made their presence felt as speakers and delegates but were also kind enough to stay on throughout, thereby giving the vast fraternity in attendance an opportunity to interact and confer on relevant issues.

On the whole, the event witnessed a convergence of government officials, industry leaders and stakeholders from the entire spectrum of shipping, cargo, logistics, the export and import trade and more, who graced the occasion as speakers, panelists and delegates, expounding and interacting on the varied aspects of the event theme in the context of the fast-changing sectoral scenario in the region.
 
The theme of SECC 2024 was ‘Southern Region emerging as transhipment & technology hub – Scope & Viability’.
 
Given the quality of the participants, the CEO Conclave was precise, thought-provoking and pertinent, that saw an exchange of ideas, learning from cross-industry experiences, and fresh perspectives on supply chain challenges. The panel discussion of the Conclave was exceptionally moderated by Mr J. Krishnan of S Natesa Iyer Logistics LLP.

The Conclave was followed by the South East – Cargo & Logistics Awards 2024, a celebration of the achievements and success of companies as well as individuals, where outstanding achievers in the cargo and logistics ecosystem were honoured in multiple categories.
 
A highlight just prior to the awards gala was the Keynote Address by Dr Xavier Britto, Chairman, Kerry Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
 
There were also a few felicitations of eminent trade entities, as well as a solemn moment in the Posthumous Felicitation of Late Mr B. Govindarajan of Tirwin Management Services (P) Ltd.
