Delhi to get five multimodal transit hubs

Delhi will get five multimodal integration points as plans have already been proposed to connect the Delhi-Alwar rapid rail corridor with existing and planned transport corridors. This will ease transitions for long-distance travel in NCR and give local commuters multiple options. The first hub will be developed in Cyber City, which will be underground. This RapidX station will be linked to the proposed Gurgaon Metro line from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City, and the existing Rapid Metro. Similarly, another integrated hub has been proposed at Rajiv Chowk, which will be connected to the planned metro route between the railway station and Bhondsi. Further along the highway, Hero Honda Chowk has been proposed as the third transit hub. The fourth hub will come up in Kherki Daula near the Dwarka Expressway. The last transit hub is being planned at Pachgaon, as per a report.
