Sanjay Dalvi to steer MANSA as its new President 
 
Vijayan D’Souza bestowed Lifetime Achievement Award
 
The 46th Annual General Meeting of Maritime Association of Nationwide Shipping Agencies (MANSA) was held at The Chembur Gymkhana on September 27, 2024, which was well attended by the various stakeholders from the shipping and maritime sector including industry leaders, regulatory bodies, fellow associations and, above all, its members, Past Presidents and luminaries. 
 
Mr Sanjay Dalvi was elected as the new President. With extensive experience in the maritime sector, Mr Sanjay Dalvi, with the able support of Mr Yogesh Shah and Mr Hiren Kanabar as its Vice Presidents, and Mr R. S. Swamy, Mr Mayur Singh, Ms Pratiksha Meshram, Mr Nityanand Rao, Capt. Viki Majumdar, Mr Sanjay Lad, Capt. Manoj Budania, Capt. Sanjay Sharma and Mr Chetan Pawar as its Executive Committee Members, is poised to lead the association with a focus on innovation, sustainability and enhanced collaboration.
 
Mr Vijayendra Parvataneni, Immediate Past President, elaborated the accomplishments during his term and passed on the baton to the newly elected President to take it forward.
 
Mr Sanjay Dalvi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and shared his vision for MANSA. “I am honoured to be entrusted with this role. Together, we will tackle the challenges facing our industry and drive forward initiatives that benefit all our members,” he said.
 
He emphasised the importance of unity and proactive engagement in navigating the evolving maritime landscape. His leadership is expected to foster a stronger, more resilient shipping community.
 
Mr Vijayan D’Souza, a stalwart in the shipping industry, a Past President of MANSA and a former Trustee of Mumbai Port, was bestowed the Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense contribution to the shipping industry.
 
The meeting ended with the Vote of Thanks by Ms Pratiksha Meshram, Executive Committee Member, informed a release.
