China offers to import more Indian products

China has offered to import more Indian products and strengthen trade cooperation. Chinese Ambassador Mr Xu Feihong has asked Indian enterprises to share the dividends of China’s development by seeking trade opportunities in the neighbouring country. He also expressed the hope that India will create a fair and transparent business climate for Chinese companies and further expand the mutually beneficial cooperation. India and China have been taking steps to rebuild their ties after a 2020 border clash on their Himalayan frontier soured relations. Subsequently, India placed restrictions on Chinese investments in the country, which have not been lifted yet. In January, both sides said they would be resuming direct flights, as per a report.
