VOC Port handles nearly 23 pc more containers yoy in December 2024
 
V. O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port) handled 60,657 TEUs of containers in December 2024, marking an impressive growth of 22.62% compared to the throughput of 49,469 TEUs in December 2023. 
 
And with 5,81,557 TEUs handled up to December in this financial year 2024-25, the port witnessed 7% growth when compared to the 5,43,531 TEUs during the same period in the last financial year, highlighted a release.
