SITC expanding its India coverage with 2 new services
After the successful launch of the FIE1 service last September, SITC is set to further expand its coverage in India with 2 new services.
After just 3 weeks, SITC is set to consolidate the newly launched MIM (Malaysia India Myanmar) service, connecting Haldia to Malaysia, by adding more ships to the service and will be extending its product coverage to various ports of China and Chennai, effective August.
The port rotation will be Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Chennai – Haldia – Port Kelang – Kuantan - Qingdao Another new launch will be the YCS (Yangon Chennai Service) which is a new pendulum product focused on catering to the growing Myanmar market. The first vessel in this service is the M.V SITC TIANJIN, ETA Chennai August 1.
SITC is represented in India by Eastern Liners Shipping Pvt Ltd (J M Baxi Group), catapulting the same ethos of SITC, which is focusing on the requirements of the global trade and accordingly working towards strategic launch of new services with key markets in focus. SITC and ELS together aim to enhance and provide shipping efficiency to the fast-growing EXIM Trade in India.
SITC continues to be focused on servicing the Indian trade which demands efficiency and flexible services. Hence, it continues to build strategic services to various east coast ports like Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Haldia, besides servicing Nepal growth in Haldia, emphasised a communique.
