DP World’s partnership with SAIL facilitating enhanced predictability, sustainability and cargo visibility

DP World has highlighted in a communique that its latest partnership with SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant delivers on its promise of enhanced predictability, sustainability and cargo visibility. 
 
“We will use dedicated flat wagon rakes to transport steel for SAIL, optimising delivery efficiencies by ensuring safe cargo handling with the least transportation variances. As a trusted partner, we will also monitor and manage the running of these rakes as per Liberalised Special Freight Train Operator (LSFTO) guidelines, to provide SAIL with comprehensive logistics solutions that will make sustainable transportation of steel possible,” it emphasised.
