MoU inked with small-holders of Malaysia for sustainable palm oil supply

The Solvent Extractors’ Association (SEA) of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with small-holders of Sarawak State of Malaysia for the supply of sustainable palm oil produced by them and expansion of market access for MSPO (Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil)-certified oil from Sarawak palm oil small-holders in the Indian market. This is seen as a significant step to accelerate market access for sustainable palm oil, especially from the indigenous palm oil small-holders in Sarawak, said a report.
