Zipaworld launches its Multimodal App with the launch of National Logistics Policy
On September 17, 2022, Zipaworld launched its app with the vision of providing an integrated multimodal logistics platform at its base. It is in pursuit of bringing a digital revolution in the field of logistics and supply chain, emphasised a release.
Zipaworld is turning the tables for the way logistics and supply chain management is perceived with a fully digital concept that encourages reduced logistics costs, reduced turnaround time, easily understandable process, complete transparency, most competitive freight pricing, instant notifications, and a lot more.
The vision of Zipaworld is in alignment with that of the National Logistics Policy 2022, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday on September 17, 2022. The PM in his speech said that the policy will significantly cut down logistics cost from 14% to a single-digit, that will place India at par with countries that are known for their developed logistics infrastructure.
Zipaworld also majorly focuses on the two factors of Multimodal Logistics & Digitisation as the key to unlock the pain areas of the logistics sector, and believes them to be imperative in the growth of the Export-Import market. Zipaworld is trying to support the ex-im community by providing them solutions in Trade Finance & Bill Discounting, in collaboration with multiple Trade Finance companies, to help them bridge the gap created because of long credit terms.
The key feature of the Zipaworld app is its Multimodal feature. Air, Ocean, Road and Courier services all are available on a single platform. Through AI-enabled engines, it provides smart suggestions for the fastest & cheapest options for movement of goods across countries. The IOS & Android based app empowers the logistics community with the ease of working from anywhere and get instant rates for hot destinations across the globe. Zipaworld provides all-in rates with complete transparency on the costs break-up & has a simple user interface to gather easy and quick information. Its Whats App-enabled chat makes getting the rates for Import & Export movements as simple as playing games on mobile.
All these initiatives are in line with the common vision of empowering the logistics industry, to bring the Digital change the industry has been waiting for. The recently launched National Logistics Policy is just the beginning of the Digital Era of Logistics, the release added.
