International maritime legal conference & awards on Oct. 20 in Mumbai
Maritime Law has seen progressive changes in the last decade. While the International Maritime Organization, or IMO, ensures that existing international maritime legal conventions are kept up to date and develops new agreements when the need arises, the need to relook at the new local and global order in maritime from the lens of maritime stakeholders is much needed.
Keeping in view the need to deliberate impending concerns related to the Maritime-Legal sector, Marex Media is hosting a first of its kind Maritime-Legal Conference & Awards. Titled ‘The Marex International Maritime Legal Conference & Awards – 2022’, this powerhouse event is to be held on October 20, 2022 in Mumbai.
The conference will facilitate discussions on various topics in the field of maritime law by speakers representing bodies such as shipowners, insurers, P&I Clubs and correspondents, executives of trading companies, in-house and corporate counsel, maritime and commercial arbitrators and lawyers, and executives engaged in the maritime and commodities industry, the intent being to gain insights from eminent judges, arbitrators, lawyers, policymakers and regulatory authorities, emphasised a release.
