Neptune Container Line expertly handles turnkey project contract

Neptune Container Line & Logistics crossed a significant milestone recently in the handling of a turnkey project contract, having successfully shipped out the largest segment of the project from India to Iraq.

An oversized “Oxidation Column”, of 86 feet length, 16 feet diameter and 57 tonnes weight, was loaded out along with many other units on a heavy lift ship Yangze Venus on September 15, 2022.

Yangze Venus was under the agency of Seatech Shipping and Projects.

The Oxidation Column was a part of many shipments of this project which were shipped over 4 months using a mix of Flat Racks & Open Tops, 40 FEUs in all. Several packages on the Flat Racks exceeded 18 feet in diameter and some were 50 feet in length.

Mr Dilip Ahuja, MD of Neptune Container Line, said: “It was the relentless effort of the entire team that worked long hours to complete the project with finesse.”

Over the past 25 years, Neptune’s Project Team has been adept in taking on logistical challenges with a practical and professional approach while always keeping safety and the client’s needs as its prime focus, emphasised a release.
