Reduction of permissible draft at New Mangalore Port

The maximum permissible draft for the outer approach channel at New Mangalore Port has been reduced to 13.75 metres with 1.0 metre height of rising tide, due to continuous siltation. This is with immediate effect, informed a New Mangalore Port Authority Circular dated August 16, 2022.
