To expand its Red Sea service network and enhance Jeddah transhipment services, CULines will launch the new Jeddah-Port Sudan Express (JPS) feeder service starting from April 4, 2025.
This route will be independently operated by its self-owned vessel ZHONG LIAN SHAN TOU offering weekly shuttle services between Jeddah Port and Port Sudan. At Jeddah Port, it will handle transhipment cargoes from the REX, REX2 and IMR services, covering shipments from China, Southeast Asia, India, Turkey and the Middle East. This service will ensure controlled schedules and reliable capacity to support the import and export trade demands for agricultural and industrial products in Sudan and the surrounding Red Sea regions.
Additionally, with the launch of the JPS route and the optimisation of the “trunk + feeder” relay transportation network, CULines will significantly enhance its regional transhipment capabilities, offering clients a broader service network, it said in a communique.
