Newly commissioned Third Chemical Berth at Mumbai Port commences operations
 
The newly commissioned Third Chemical Berth (TCB) at Pir Pau, Mumbai Port, commenced operations on September 27, 2024.
 
The berth handles all types of petroleum, oil & lubricants (POL) products except LPG, with the existing pump house capacity of 2880m³/hour. Liquid petroleum products will only be handled after the commissioning of the new Fire Pump House, said a communique.
