Engineering exports up in June

India’s engineering exports surged by 10.27% in June 2024, driven by demand for machinery, vehicles, auto components, and iron and steel products. This growth demonstrates the sector’s resilience and its significant contribution to the country’s overall export performance.
 
Key markets such as the US, Germany and the UK played a crucial role in this increase, showcasing the global competitiveness of Indian engineering goods. This positive trend is expected to continue, bolstered by ongoing infrastructure projects and an increased focus on manufacturing excellence, as per reports.
