HMM launches direct rail service ex ICD Tughlakabad to Kattupalli Port 
 
Offers fastest & best service to East Coast South America 
 
With extended support from its service partner - CONCOR, HMM has launched a new, direct rail service ex ICD Tughlakabad to Kattupalli Port, to connect to its direct FIL service to East Coast South America. 
 
HMM has always strived to provide Best in Class service to its valuable customers and this recent endeavour has added another feather to its cap, which is especially beneficial to shippers in North India.
 
This direct rail connection to Kattupalli will reduce the transit time by a staggering 14 days as against the normal rail route to Mundra Port for onward feeder connection to Kattupalli, highlighted a release.
 
The famous FIL service is the only direct service connecting India (Kattupalli) to East Coast South America. Now, with the direct rail connection, it would be a major boost to the trade.
 
With 2 weekly trains being offered ex ICD Tughlakabad, the transit time to Kattupalli is a mere 5 days, as per the release.
 
North India shippers can expect their shipments to reach Brazil under 30 days using this new rail connection, which is the fastest transit time available across the industry. The CONCOR Chief General Manager, New Delhi appreciated the efforts of HMM to bring yet another gateway port for the North India exporter, facilitating speedy vessel connections for their export containers. He added that CONCOR stands committed to help expand its rail network to improve logistics in India in keeping with the vision, aim and policies of the Government of India.
