Key Vadhvan Port project receives widespread domestic & international interest
A conference was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) last week, led by the Chairman, Mr Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, for the applicants of the recently floated Expression of Interest (EoI) for the development and maintenance of land offshore off the Vadhvan coast. This project involves dredging, reclamation and construction of an offshore protection bund for the proposed satellite Vadhvan Port on PPP (HAM & Annuity Model) basis.
The conference saw participation from representatives of prominent organisations, including ITDC, REL Con Infra projects, Boskalis, International Seaport Dredging Pvt. Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Royal IHC, Yooshin, Van Oord Offshore B.V., HCC, Jan De Nul Dredging, MSIDC, M. Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd, L&T Construction, DP World, Tata Projects Ltd, CONCOR, Adani Group, and others.
The interaction saw the Chairman provide a detailed explanation of the project execution. He welcomed suggestions for the successful completion of this key project in the maritime sector, as per a communique.
