MSC Congestion Surcharge for cargo from Middle East and Indian Subcontinent to Beira, Mozambique
 
Due to the congestion in Beira, Mozambique, generating difficult conditions to operate, MSC will apply a Congestion Surcharge (CGS) for cargo from Middle East and Indian Subcontinent (including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) to Beira in order to maintain its services at the required level.
 
As from December 9, 2024 (gate-in date) onwards, the CGS will be charged USD 500/unit for dry and reefer cargoes, informed a communique.
