New industrial hubs proposed at 12 locations along key freight corridors

The Indian government has identified 12 locations for new industrial hubs along key freight corridors. This initiative aims to drive economic growth and improve logistics proficiency. The proposed sites for these hubs, to be positioned along the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors, include areas in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh among others. The goal is to create integrated industrial zones that leverage the enhanced connectivity provided by these corridors. The development is expected to attract significant investments, enhance regional development and create numerous job opportunities, contributing to the nation’s overall economic advancement, said a report.
