Deendayal Port handles record cargo in 24 hours
Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) has set a new record by handling an astounding 6,77,204 MT of cargo in just 24 hours on June 28, 2024. This milestone is also the highest ever among all the Major Ports of India, informed a DPA communique.
In the process, the port also surpassed its previous record of 6,64,904 MT set on January 23, 2023.
In the communique, DPS lauded Traffic Manager Mr Ratna Sekhar Rao and Deputy Conservator Capt. Pradeep Mohanty, along with their entire team, for this remarkable achievement, making it a historic moment for the port. The Chairman & Deputy Chairman congratulated Team DPA on this outstanding accomplishment, it was highlighted.
