BDR Freight & UTRANS Mumbai combine forces to successfully handle another ODC shipment

BDR Freight, along with UTRANS, added another feather to their cap in handling over-dimensional cargo when they facilitated the movement of 3 units of Vacuum Distillation Towers by barge from Mumbai Port to JNPT/BMCT. The ODC shipment was seamlessly undertaken and handled by a dedicated team for the road haul from factory to Mumbai Port and then barging up to JNPT/BMCT, with direct loading from the barge onto the MV MSC AJJACIAO for final delivery to Umm Qasr, Iraq, recently, with expert guidance from the BMCT authorities and the carrier MSC India.

The cargo comprised 3 towers having dimensions of 30 x 4.5 x 4.5 metres (100 ft x 15 ft x 15 ft) and weighing 46 metric tonnes each.

With close to 40 years of experience in chartering, freight broking, forwarding, transportation, logistics and now coastal movement by using barges, BDR Freight and UTRANS have raised the bar with their mantra “WE CAN DO IT”.

BDR Freight and UTRANS are specialists in handling ODC, heavy lifts and project cargo, having successfully handled numerous assignments and shipments over the years.
