China’s growth seen slowing to 2 pc over the next decade

 

According to research from Capital Economics, China’s economic growth will slow to 2 per cent in the coming decade, well below the level forecast by major global institutions as the country becomes another normal emerging economy.

 

Recently, the Chinese Premier had announced a growth target of between 6 to 6.5 per cent for this year as he delivered the government work report at the opening of the country’s parliament.
