Emirates’ Far East Galex service maiden vessel calls at Adani Hazira Container Terminal


Adani Hazira Port Pvt. Ltd, part of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India’s largest port developer, has welcomed M. V. Emirates Sana on its maiden call at Adani Hazira Container Terminal. Emirates Shipping Line commenced its Galex service from Adani Hazira Container Terminal with this maiden call on February 8, 2016, facilitating direct connectivity to the Far East and South-East Asian ports from Hazira.


On this occasion, Capt. Jeyaraj, Associate Vice-President of Adani Hazira Container Terminal, felicitated the Master of the vessel along with senior members of the Emirates India team, and thanked them for making this most modern gateway terminal a port of their choice.


Galex service has the following rotation: Hazira, Cochin, Port Klang, Hong Kong, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Singapore, which will facilitate the ex-im trade based in South Gujarat, Central India, Northern Maharashtra and beyond with excellent service linkages to the Far East and South-East Asia. Apart from direct calls to major Far East and South-East Asian ports, Emirates Galex service also accepts bookings for Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea and other ports in China, highlighted a release.
