CTL & BHP 2016 conference & expo begins tomorrow

* To comprehensively focus on key cargo & logistics issues & way ahead

* Anant Geete to be the Chief Guest

Mr Anant G. Geete, Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises in the Narendra Modi-led NDA government, will be the Chief Guest at the 9th edition of CTL (Cargo, Transport, Logistics) 2016 concurrent with BHP (Break Bulk, Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding) 2016 International Expo and Conference scheduled for February 18 and 19, 2016 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.

He will be heading a truly comprehensive line-up of speakers and panelists from India and abroad, a rarity in most such events, comprising industry head honchos, top professionals and entrepreneurs from all the associated segments, policymakers and regulators, representatives from the ex-im trade, consultants, insurers and financiers, etc., who will be outlining their views on the current scenario and, importantly, the way ahead for improved and continuous growth in the entire gamut of cargo and logistics—the policy requirements, responsibilities of the stakeholders, implementing global best practices, etc.

Besides, over 100 exhibitors, again both domestic and international, will be displaying their wares at the expo—products, services and, importantly, the latest innovations and technologies in the sector.

Partnering Exim India in the expo is Messe München, the leading Germany-based organiser of global cargo and logistics exhibitions.

Dr Vishwapati Trivedi, IAS, Chairman of National Shipping Board (NSB) and former Shipping Secretary, is the Chairman of the Conference.

This popular Exim India mega cargo show has received the endorsement and support of the Union Ministry of Shipping.

CTL 2016 and BHP 2016 will thus provide an environment to learn, interact with the leading lights, deliberate and suggest on the way ahead, acquaint with the latest in products, services and technologies, avail of collaboration possibilities to enhance one’s business, and network.
